"Convenient, but not good in strong currents"
As a short person, I could not imagine trying to lift a heavy hard-sided kayak on top of my SUV, so I turned to the inflatable Sea Eagle 330. I enjoy the convenience of its transportation and the ease of its inflation. However, I have found that the kayak is not as stable as a hard-sided model and does not track well in strong currents or strong winds. I continue to enjoy it on calm lakes, but continue to rent hard-sided kayaks when I kayak in the ocean because the inflatable kayak is simply too difficult to maneuver at the coast.
